Suggestion - Guard Outposts

A building that would be buildable only in the 8 tiles surrounding a town hall. When built, it’d give guards functionality on the tile, and travelling to the tile wouldn’t remove their guard status. While on the tile, guards would enforce the attached towns laws.

The town would probably be determined by the initiators citizenship, and of course, they’d only be able to build it if they’re on tile away from their town hall.

Maybe there could be a limit, so all 8 tiles can’t be guarded by one town, and I think the limit of guards per town could stay the same? I’m not sure about how the nitty gritty balancy bits would be.

Just some thoughts I’ve had while pondering Marosia… I’m not sure of the real viability, but it sounded neat to me!
