I do not know anything about programming at all, so this might not actually work, but I will try anyway:
The game is slow at the end of each month due to the amount of logs that are kept for everyone. Would it be possible for us players to have an option to delete logs after we download them, at any time of the month? That way the game might not slow down so much towards the end of the month?
As discussed on discord, this is not currently possible because of the necessity of keeping logs for the purpose of admin investigations of reports.
However, in the future there are plans to optimize the way logs are saved by having them archived in a separate storage area so that the “live” version the game uses is trimmed up to keep speed more consistent throughout the month. The time period this update is planned for would be after development is finished, before the game is advertised.
